Believe In Yourself Speech, Language, Literacy, LLC is a licensed private Speech-Language Pathologist practice specializing in helping clients overcome speech, language, and literacy related challenges. The scope of our practice covers areas such literacy, social communication language disorders, semantics, morphology, syntax language disorders, et al. 

Our clients’ overall best interest always comes first and everything we do will be guided by our values and professional ethics. We currently offer in person therapy sessions and telehealth in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Colorado, West Virginia, and Virginia.

Believe In Yourself Speech, Language, and Literacy, LLC was founded on the motive to provide an outreach of speech/language and literacy services within our small community, surrounding towns, across the state of Oregon, and neighboring states. We pledge to provide engaging evidence-based speech/language therapy services and direct and explicit literacy instruction to all of our clients, whether it’s in-person or via teletherapy. The ultimate goal for our practice is that every child gets the speech/language and literacy services he/she needs and deserves. If we cannot meet the child’s specific needs, we will do our best to refer you to another practice.

Amy Martin MA CCC-SLP

Amy is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over 15 years of experience. She has extensive experience providing speech-language therapy and literacy to children ages 3-21 in the school setting and via telehealth. Amy has always loved working with children of all ages and their families. Her biggest hope is to provide an environment that is fun and encourages each child to reach his/her fullest potential. 

Amy was born and raised in Bailey, Colorado, but currently resides in Pendleton, Oregon. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education: Mild to Moderate Needs. Amy gained her outpatient experience at The Continuum in Reno, Nevada by providing Speech-Language services for birth to geriatric clients. Before becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist, she was a high school special education teacher in Colorado and Nevada. 

Amy is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, an Orton-Gillingham Associate, and currently a board member on Oregon Board of Examiners Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. She is licensed in Oregon, Colorado, Idaho, and Washington.

In her free time, Amy loves to travel across America and to other countries. Greece and Australia are her favorite countries so far! She also likes to fish in Alaska, kayak, paddle board, camp in the mountains, and spend time with her family and friends. A new member has recently joined Amy's family and the Believe In Yourself family. Dottie, a chocolate lab puppy, will be joining the Believe In Yourself family as an animal assisted therapy dog. Jennie Price, MS CCC-SLP

Jennie Price, is a Speech Language Pathologist with many years of experience providing services within school and hospital settings, private practice, as well as as a teacher in higher education.

Jennie earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Science Disorders from the University of Wyoming and her Masters of Science in Clinical Speech Pathology from Northern Arizona University.

Jennie has served on the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech, Language, and Audiology, the American Speech Hearing Association School Financial Committee as well as with the Oregon Speech Hearing Association. Jennie has had an article published in the ASHA Leader. Jennie is the recipient of the 2023 Distinguished Alumni for Communication Science Disorders from the University of Wyoming.

Stephanie Sneed, SLP Assistant

Stephanie Sneed has been a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) since 2020. She received her certification from Chemeketa Community College and is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree at Maryville University. With a passion for helping young children, she has a particular interest in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and loves exploring various forms of AAC to enhance her clients’ communication skills. Stephanie also enjoys working with individuals on the autism spectrum, finding great fulfillment in helping them improve their communication abilities.

 - Stephanie enjoys camping and fishing, finding solace and joy in the great outdoors. - She loves spending quality time with her family, cherishing those moments together.
